UPPSC PCS Bharti 2026 Notification- Exam Pattern:
The UPPSC Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026 is conducted in three stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next phase of the recruitment process.
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination consists of two objective-type papers conducted on OMR sheets.

Important Points:
- Both papers are Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions).

- The Preliminary merit list will be prepared only on the basis of Paper-I marks.
- Each paper will be conducted for 2 Hours.
- Negative Marking: One-third (1/3) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Stage 2: Main Examination
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be eligible for the Main Written Examination. The Mains consists of eight descriptive (conventional) papers.
