UPPSC Computer Cadre Recruitment 2026- Education Qualification:
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification by the last date of application.
Manager (System)
The notification prescribes a Degree in Computer Application for the relevant post.
Senior Programmer
The prescribed qualification includes a Degree with Diploma in Computer Application.
Programmer Grade-2
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/institution established by law in India or an equivalent qualification.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized Institute/University or ‘A’ Level Certificate from DOE.
- Knowledge of software development such as C/C++, FoxPro and RDBMS/Oracle-related systems.
- Exposure to networking operating systems.
- Knowledge of Office Automation packages and Internet.
The notification also mentions preference for candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for at least two years or possess an NCC ‘B’ Certificate, subject to other conditions being equal.
Computer Operator Grade-B
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Computer Science or

- Knowledge of data entry in Hindi and English.
- Knowledge of software such as MS Office/Lotus/Smart Suite and relevant database/Windows/Unix environments.
- Networking knowledge.
- Typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi and 40 words per minute in English.
