The final allocation has been made on the basis of candidates’ merit-cum-preference, along with the FIX/FLOAT option exercised during the Sliding/Identity Verification process.
- FIX Option: 1,055 candidates
- FLOAT Option: 549 candidates
- New Allocation: 111 candidates
- Total: 1,715 candidates
Candidates who did not physically appear for the Sliding/IV process held on 11 and 12 August 2026 were treated as absent and were not considered for the final result.

What Happens After SSC Stenographer Final Result 2025?
After the final allocation, the respective departments will conduct Document Verification and complete the remaining appointment formalities.
The selection is provisional until the candidate successfully completes document verification. If a candidate fails to produce valid documents supporting educational qualification, category, caste or other claims made in the application, the candidature may be cancelled.
SSC has also clarified that no Reserve List or Waiting List will be prepared. Unfilled vacancies or vacancies arising because of non-joining will be carried forward to the next recruitment year by the concerned departments.
