1. Warrant Officer (Cipher): 10+2/Intermediate in Science with Physics, Math, and English, along with a minimum 2-year ITI course (NSQF Level 4) or a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Information & Communication Technology.
2. Rifleman (Electrical Fitter Signal): Class 10/Matriculation pass with 2-year ITI certificate or 2-3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrician.
3. Rifleman (Lineman Field): Class 10/Matriculation pass with 2-year ITI certificate or 2-3 year Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Electrician.
4. Rifleman (Armourer): Class 10 pass with ITI certificate in Welding trade.
5. Rifleman (Engineer Equipment Mechanic): Class 10 pass with 2-year ITI certificate or 2-3 year Diploma in Engineer Equipment Mechanic/Power Electric Systems/Mechanic Diesel.
6. Rifleman (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic): Class 10 pass with ITI certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic and Heavy Motor Vehicle/Transport Driving License.

selection process

The selection process consists of multiple stages:

1. RFID-Based Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Document Verification
4. Computer Based Test (CBT)
5. Trade Skill Test
6. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
7. Review Medical Examination (RME), where applicable
8. Final Merit List & Call for Training

Candidates qualifying in the initial physical/document stages are considered for the subsequent recruitment stages as prescribed for their trade.

Warrant Officer (Cipher, Draughtsman, Operation Theatre Technician, Physiotherapist): 18 to 25 years .

Other Rifleman / Havildar Trades: 18 to 23 years .

Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC - 3 years, Ex-Servicemen - as per Central Government rules.
