NICL Assistant (Class III) recruitment 2024 Selection Process :
Preliminary Examination (Online)
- Objective type, 100 marks.
- Subjects: English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Main Examination (Online)
- Objective type, 200 marks.
- Subjects: Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.
Regional Language Test (Qualifying in nature).
Final merit will be based on the Main Examination scores, subject to language proficiency.

Documents Required at the Exam Center
Candidates must carry the following items:
- Admit Card (with a recent passport-size photograph affixed).
- A valid Photo ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License).
- Photocopy of the ID proof.
NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024 :
The NICL Assistant Exam 2024 follows a three-stage process: Phase I (Prelims), Phase II (Mains), and the Regional Language Test.
- Negative Marking: A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains.
- Final Merit List: Only marks from the Mains Examination will be considered for the final merit list, subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test.
