Cost of Training:
The cost of training at Cadets Training Wings and the Indian Military Academy is borne by the Government of India. However, if a candidate withdraws voluntarily for personal reasons during training, they will be liable to pay back the cost incurred.
- Training Cost: ₹13,940/- per week (as of 2021, subject to revision)
- This cost applies during the candidate’s stay at:

Note: In case of voluntary withdrawal or disciplinary removal, this cost will be recovered from the cadet.

To qualify for final selection and training, candidates must meet the minimum physical fitness standards as prescribed by the Indian Army. These are evaluated on arrival at the Cadets Training Wing (CTW) or during SSB screening.
