Q1. Is this a permanent job?
👉A: No, this is an engagement for a fixed term of 15 months only. Completion of training does not give any right to permanent employment in CIL.
Q2. Can I apply if I have already done 1 year of training in another PSU?
👉A: No, candidates who have already undergone training under a similar scheme for one year or more in any other Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) are not eligible.
Q3. What happens if two candidates have the same marks?
👉A: In case of a tie, the older candidate is given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in Class 10 will be preferred.
Q4. Will Coal India provide accommodation?
👉A: Trainees are responsible for their own accommodation. However, if company-owned housing is available, it may be provided on a sharing basis for free.
Q5. Do I need to bring my own laptop?
👉A: Yes, selected interns are required to bring their own laptops for the duration of the training.
