- Candidates must register online through the link provided on the SBI careers webpage.
- A valid email ID must be provided and kept active for receiving all communication, such as interview advice and call letters.
- Candidates need to scan and upload their recent passport-style color photograph (size 20-50 kb, JPG/JPEG format).

Q1: Are officers who left the bank via voluntary retirement eligible to apply?
👉Ans: Generally, officers who voluntarily retired, resigned, or were suspended before superannuation are not eligible. However, an officer who completed 58 years of age and 30 years of pensionable service at the time of applying for voluntary retirement as per e-Circular No. CDO/P&HRD-PM/20/2022-23 will be eligible upon attaining 60 years of age.
Q2: Will I receive regular service allowances, medical reimbursements, or housing from the bank?
👉Ans: No. Engaged retired officers will receive a fixed monthly lumpsum compensation and will not be eligible for reimbursement of medical expenses, housing, furniture, or any other service perquisites during the contract period.
Q3: Can I apply to multiple circles to increase my chances of selection?
👉Ans: No. Only one application will be accepted per Retired Officer for one chosen Circle. If multiple applications are submitted, only the last completed and valid application is retained, while the previous ones will be rejected.
Q4: What happens if two or more candidates score the exact same marks in the final merit list?
👉Ans: In case multiple candidates secure the same cut-off marks in the final merit list, they will be ranked according to their age in descending order (the older candidate gets a higher rank).
Q5: Can I take up other consulting work or assignments during the contract period?
👉Ans: No. The engagement is for full-time work, and retired officers are strictly barred from accepting any other assignment with any other organization during their contractual service period with SBI.
